The ideal candidate must have the following skills:

  • Experienced bathroom fitter

  • Excellent standard of tiling

  • Keen eye for detail

  • Ability to achieve an outstanding finish

  • Polite and courteous

  • Clean, tidy and organized worker

  • Have tiling experience

  • A full driving license

  • Plumbing experience

Following skills advantageous

  • Basic level of joinery - adjusting doors, skirtings, bath panels, furniture

  • Basic level of electrics

  • Any other construction skills

As a plumbing and bathroom design company we undertake all types of plumbing work and there will be opportunities to increase your general plumbing skills.

Due to the nature of the work candidates must be physically fit, hold a full driving license and have their own hand tools.

Summary of the Role

To plan, design and help the customer create the Home improvement they want, with the aid of computer-aided designs (Arti-cad), the full range of KO Bathrooms products, whether its

Kitchens, Bathrooms, Windows, Doors.

Key responsibilities:

  • Visit customers in their homes, establish their needs and wants, measure up the project and give them a guide price of their dream kitchen, Bathroom, or other KO product.

  • Help them through the design process and demonstrate why customers choose KO Home Improvements

  • Actively listen and capture customer requirements to ensure the design meets or exceeds expectations

  • Generate unique designs from customer requirements using our 3D ArtiCAD software

  • Explain key documents to customers so they are clear on what they are receiving as part of their purchase

  • Explain the payment terms

  • Adherence to compliance processes as directed by the Manager of your department

The Person

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Able to communicate effectively at all levels

  • Ability to achieve and exceed sales targets

  • You will have strong creativity skills

  • You must hold a driving license

  • Planning and organizing skills

  • A desire for continuous personal and professional development

* Some experience in a Kitchen / Bathroom or Home Improvements Designer/Sales/Fitting role is preferred but not essential
